In connection with the modernisation of the shopping centre the existing load distribution plate was replaced by a new floating floor screed. In order not to exceed the permissible load on the existing structure, the new screed had to be built as thin as possible. Since the open parking deck falls into the exposition class XD3, rust-proof reinforcement was necessary, in order to reduce the concrete cover to the minimum required according to the DIN.
