ComBAR reinforced concrete structures are designed according to the CSA S806-02 code "Design and Construction of Building Components with Fibre-Reinforced Polymers". Bridges are designed according to the Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code CSA S6-06. A simple program is available to design individual concrete sections for a given combination of internal forces. The design is based on the Euro Code 2. Load factors in the EC2 are 1.35 for dead loads and 1.5 for live loads. The British Standard is very similar to the EC2. A program on the basis of CSA S806 will be available shortly.
